The classic tuxedo – a shawl lapel single button suit.
Satin faced or self fabric faced – the most formal cocktail designs. How do you make it work for you? EIther wear it classicly or in Mister Mister spec – As a non tuxedo.
Whilst we like to work with the most classic designs, often we will change things and remove elements that we know to be traditional.
Remove the black satin facing from the tuxedo and it becomes a fun cocktail suit.
Wear it as seperate jacket and trousers and you’re adding some interest to what is normally a very traditional garment.
Modern or traditional, the best question to ask yourself is what are we trying to achieve with your custom design suit or jacket.
